About the Program

The Rugby Union Program is a part of the Targeted Sports Program (TSP) of Endeavour Sports High School. We offer a unique opportunity to combine academic studies with training at school. Students will be given specialised coaching in all aspects of Rugby Union with a preferred focus on Rugby Sevens. In order to develop core skills and understanding of the game, TSP Rugby Union uses a simple ‘back to basics’ philosophy.

Core skills are practised repetitiously in isolation and in game context, in order to provide players with a sound rugby foundation for their future rugby careers. All students must play club rugby on weekends. Each group will be coached by qualified coaches who are teachers at the school. They will mentor their players to ensure they have every opportunity to succeed in sport and in their education whilst they are at Endeavour Sports High School.
