About the Program
The Rugby League program is part of the Targeted Sports Program (TSP) of Endeavour Sports High School. We offer a unique opportunity to combine academic studies with training at school. Students will be given specialised coaching in all aspects of Rugby League. They will have the opportunity to develop their skills, physical attributes and understanding of the game. Continual monitoring of players occurs throughout, with individual testing in all components related to Rugby League. Our Rugby League program prides itself in fostering a family environment where we look after the boys in a holistic manner. We have an established and proven program that aims to improve our boys not only as players but also to develop them as students and good citizens of the community. It is clear to our boys that academic and behavioural standards must be met in order to play Rugby League.

Training and Applied Sport Subject
Students in the junior program train twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, during school time. Students in the senior squad train twice a week, Tuesday mornings before school and Thursday afternoons during school time. During Year 9 and 10 students in the program study Rugby League as an elective subject. Topics covered include: History, Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning, Public Speaking, Anatomy and Video Analysis of individual and team performance. Students will also attain a Club Coach Level 1 Certificate and School Referee Certificate.
Fees: All members of TSP Rugby League are expected to pay fees annually. Fees are necessary to run the program and subsidise the following costs: Coaching fees, training uniforms and playing jerseys, transport costs, training equipment. Currently fees are $650 per year/ student.
The Rugby League program offers individual and group tutoring in all subject areas, to those students who need assistance.
The overall aim of the program is to see the individual improve as a Rugby League player and to develop as a respected student.
