About the Program

The AFL TSP will combine the development of young AFL players’ talents with an outstanding education. We aim to provide a six year program of support that enables participants to access the best coaching, resources, competitions, technical development and learning in a multicultural environment that reflects the game.

  • The partnership with the QBE Sydney Swans Academy will provide Technical Training, Strength and Conditioning, Match analysis and Expertise.
  • Nick Davis – Youth Development Coach (Sydney Swans Academy) is our full time Head Coach.
  • Assistant Coach Kieran Donohue - All schools and Sydney Swans Academy Coach.
  • Anees Davids - AFL Level 1, Strength, and Conditioning Specialist Coach.
  • The program now has over 65 players, both male and female.
  • In essence, it’s a school-based program that is led and managed by Level 2 AFL Coach and Teacher with the teacher mentor as a Level 1 accredited Coach.

  • Video analysis of games and sessions.
  • In school curriculum time technical sessions Highly qualified coaches who are committed to the AFL Curriculum and directions for the development of players in ALF.
