Enrolment

Our school can help with enrolment queries throughout the year.

Local enrolment area

Check your address on School Finder to see if it is within our local intake area. Most schools have designated local enrolment areas. Note: local enrolment areas are subject to change.

How to enrol

If you live in our intake area and would like to apply to enrol at our school, start by submitting an online enrolment application. Online enrolment is currently only available for Australian or New Zealand citizens and permanent residents.

If you are not able to apply online or you prefer not to, download the paper application to enrol (PDF 768.4KB) form. Please complete the form in English. A translated application to enrol may help you do this.

Online enrolment can also be used for out-of-area enrolment. Please note that out-of-area enrolment procedures are subject to the department’s enrolment policy.

Enrolment applications are finalised at the school.

How to enrol - Year 6 into Year 7

  • If you have received an offer from our school for placement into Year 7 next year, the next step is to visit online enrolment to proceed with the offer and complete the enrolment application.
  • If you did not submit an expression of interest or are not eligible, visit online enrolment to start a new application to our school.
  • If you submitted your expression of interest using a paper form, or would prefer not to enrol online, use the application to enrol (PDF 768.4KB) form.

Distance education is an equity program for students who are geographically isolated or whose individual circumstances prevent them from regularly attending school. Students must meet one of the conditions in the Distance Education Enrolment Procedures to be eligible to access this program as a full-time student.

Students seeking selection into the Targeted Sports Program (TSP) must also complete the relevant TSP Application Form in addition to the regular application forms for a government school. For Year 6 students wishing to enter a Year 7 TSP Program in 2024 the ‘TSP Application for Year 7 2024' must be completed. For other students from years 7 to 12 wishing to enrol in a TSP program the ‘Years 7 to 12 TSP Application’ must be completed. Both of these forms can be found in the ‘Resources’ section below.

The ‘Student consent Forms’ must also be completed by all students seeking enrolment. This form can be found in the ‘Resources’ section below.

Copies of the following documents are also required to complete the enrolment process:

Year 6-7 Enrolment Process

If your child is currently enrolled in Year 6 in a public primary school, and you wish to apply to enrol in our school in Year 7 of the following year, contact the Year 6 Coordinator at your current school who will guide you to your school's digital Moving to high school page. Here you will need to complete and submit a digital "Expression of Interest" form. (Note: The option to complete an EOI on paper will still be available, if needed.)

If your child is currently enrolled in Year 6 in a non-government primary school, and you wish to apply to enrol in our school in Year 7 of the following year, contact us to obtain an “Expression of Interest” form to complete and return to us. We will contact you once a decision has been made about your child’s potential enrolment, and next steps.

TSP Application forms will also need to be completed for any year 6 students seeking admission into a TSP program.

Year 7-12 Enrolments

If your child is currently enrolled in another public or non-government high school, and you wish to apply to enrol in our school, contact us to obtain an application form to complete and return to us. We will contact you once a decision has been made about your child’s potential enrolment, and next steps.

Temporary visa or visitor visa

If your child has a temporary visa or visitor visa you will first need to apply to enrol by contacting the temporary residents program who will give you forms to bring to the school.

It’s important that you tell the principal if your child has any special circumstances, allergies, health or medical conditions, before your child starts school.
