Swimming
About our program
The targeted sports program (TSP) in swimming, offers students the opportunity to incorporate 2 training sessions into their school week, freeing up precious time after hours. The training is conducted by two advanced level coaches with the goal of complementing the work being achieved within a swimmer’s home program. In addition to pool sessions, swimmers may incorporate gym sessions into their program.
Student wellbeing and academic achievement are an important aspect of an athletes development. The swim team meet daily and are given support and guidance from their mentor and fellow swimmers.
TSP swimming has the support of NSW swimming and the Sports High School Association this allows for development days and racing opportunities to occur throughout the year.
- Students train Tuesday and Thursday afternoons during school hours at Caringbah Leisure Centre & Swimmerz Academy.
- 1 morning before school/week in the gym @ ESHS Fitness Centre (optional)
