About the program
At Endeavour Sports High School, Dance is more than an elite program. At Endeavour Sports High School, Dance is more than an elite program. It is a high-performance pathway.
The Dance Targeted Sports Program (TSP) is designed for passionate, driven dancers who are ready to train with purpose, push their potential, and perform at an elite level. Our program develops dancers as both artists and athletes, combining technical excellence, performance quality, safe dance practices, and mindset training.
Led by Miss Helena Kyriacou, the program is built on high expectations, discipline, teamwork, and continuous growth. Every dancer is supported to refine their technique, elevate their artistry, and strive for personal excellence within a structured and supportive environment.
TSP Dance goes beyond physical training. Students develop a deep understanding of their bodies and the science behind performance. The program includes:

Safe dance principles and injury prevention

Nutrition to support training, recovery and performance

Strength and conditioning for longevity and power

Alignment, placement and muscular engagement

Performance quality, stage presence and expressive artistry

Professional rehearsal etiquette and mindset development
Auditions & Commitment
Entry into TSP Dance is by audition only.
The program is designed to complement external training. All students must remain actively engaged in out-of-school dance training. TSP is for dancers who are committed to consistent growth and excellence.
Training
Students will be accepted into performance groups which rehearse in the mornings between 7:30am – and 8:30am. Students will only go to the necessary rehearsal.
TSP technique training sessions are as follows:
Tuesday 1:30pm – 2:50pm
Thursday 12:50pm – 2:50pm
Industry Exposure
TSP Dance students train with current industry professionals who bring real-world insight into the studio. These guest tutors provide invaluable experience, mentoring, and inspiration.

Program Director
Helena Kyriacou
Miss Kyriacou holds a Bachelor of Dance Education (Dance, PDHPE, Community & Family Studies, Sport, Lifestyle & Recreation) and brings extensive experience in performance, choreography and dance education.
Under her leadership, TSP Dance students have:
- Achieved Band 5 and Band 6 results in HSC Dance
- Been selected for State Dance Ensembles
- Performed in the Schools Spectacular Featured Dance Ensemble
- Gained entry into full-time dance institutions
- Progressed into professional dance careers
- Contributed to Regional and State Dance Festivals
- Worked within the Schools Spectacular Production Team
The program fosters not only strong dancers, but confident, resilient young people who understand the discipline required for success.

These opportunities allow students to perform on professional stages, work with industry creatives, and develop confidence in high-level performance environments.
TSP Dance operates with high standards and clear expectations.
Upon acceptance, students and parents/carers co-sign a program contract outlining:
- Behaviour and professionalism
- Performance and competition commitments
- Financial responsibilities
- Uniform and presentation standards
Dancers are expected to present professionally at all rehearsals and performances. Uniform requirements, grooming standards and safe dance protocols are strictly upheld to maintain the integrity of the program.
TSP Dance is built on accountability, commitment, and pride. Students who meet these expectations thrive in a supportive, high-performance environment where excellence is the standard.
TSP Fees
$900 per annum
