Inclusive Education Unit
At Endeavour Sports High School, our Inclusive Education Faculty is committed to creating a safe, supportive and empowering learning environment where every student is valued and supported to thrive. We meet students where they are, focusing on individual strengths, needs and goals to ensure meaningful progress and success.
We have five specialist classes designed to support students with moderate intellectual disability, mild intellectual disability and multi-categorical needs. Our experienced educators deliver inclusive programs aligned with both NESA outcomes and Life Skills outcomes.
This ensures students access a high-quality, personalised and purposeful education.
Our Community
A strong sense of belonging is central to our Inclusive Education Faculty. Students actively participate in whole-school initiatives, social opportunities and leadership roles, including representation on the Student Representative Council (SRC). Students entering Year 7 will participate in our Transition to High School Program which is run through the Inclusive Education Faculty. Our annual Welcome BBQ and parent information sessions provide valuable opportunities to connect and build relationships. Our Senior Graduation Dinners celebrate student growth, achievement and successful transition beyond school.
Inclusion is not just a program at Endeavour; it is part of who we are.

SKWAD - Special Kids with a Disability
Endeavour SKWAD (Special Kids With A Disability) is a registered charity dedicated to supporting students in the Inclusive Education Unit at Endeavour Sports High School. Established by a group of parents and carers in 201O and registered as a charity in 2011, SKWAD was created to enhance opportunities for students in the Inclusive Education Faculty at Endeavour SHS.
Through fundraising and community support, SKWAD provides financial assistance to ensure students can access specialised programs, resources and experiences that focus on developing independent life skills and work skills. Access to these programs and community experiences is supported by our three Inclusive Education buses, funded through SKWAD. The SKWAD community, continues to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the education of the Inclusive Education students.
